What’s new in Qisstify

Backups about twice a day

While Qisstify is open it backs up once the last backup is 12 hours old, and again when you close it if the last one is more than 6 hours old. It only backs up when something has changed.

Fewer old copies kept

The 2 newest backups and one for each of the last 5 days, 2 weeks and 3 months. The cloud folder keeps the 2 newest and one for each of the last 3 days. Backups you make yourself are never deleted there.

Disk space checked first

If the disk is too full for a backup, Qisstify tells you instead of failing halfway.

Fewer reminders

The bell asks for a backup only when something has changed since the last one.

Big phone photos load quickly

A 48-megapixel photo used to take over 15 seconds and looked stuck. It now takes about a second, with “Preparing the picture…” shown meanwhile.

Clear limits

A picture that is far too large is refused with a message saying so, and a very slow PC stops trying after a minute.

Payment screenshot

The screenshot in Get a licence goes through the same checks and no longer freezes the window.

Smaller pictures

Stored pictures are about half the size, so the shop’s data and backups grow more slowly.

ID card picture

A new customer needs a picture of the front of their CNIC; the back is optional. Pictures are kept privately in the shop’s encrypted data and included in every backup.

Clearer forms

Problems are shown inside each form, right above Save.

Stock history

Every stock in, stock out, sale, return and count for a product, with who and when. It can be printed.

Laptop screens

Every window fits the screen, and Save and Cancel stay in view.

Cancelled plans

A cancelled plan stays on screen marked Cancelled, and its receipts still reprint.

Stock you count

Choose which products you keep count of. A counted product at 0 can’t be sold until stock comes in.

Running low

Set a reorder level and the bell warns you about products that are out of stock or running low.

Stock count and returns

Type what is on the shelf and the difference is recorded. An item from a cancelled sale goes back in stock or is marked damaged.

IMEI / serial no.

Optional on each sale, checked, printed on the sale agreement and receipt, and searchable.

Help on every screen

Press F1 or Help and the user guide opens, in English or Urdu, at the part about that screen.

Money under control

Cancellations need a reason and large ones need the owner. A printable sale agreement with the full schedule. Every money, stock and user change is recorded with who and when.

Safe data

Automatic, checked backups, and a recovery key that reopens the shop’s data after a forgotten password or a Windows reset.

Fast with years of data

Tested with 165,000 payments. The app locks itself after 15 minutes without use.
